The
third largest island in the world, Borneo is politically divided between
Malaysia, Brunei, and Indonesia. In the northern half, the Malaysian state of
Sarawak harbors extensive rainforests. Recently, however, many of these forests
have been threatened by logging and tree and palm oil plantations. Malaysia is
currently losing rainforest faster than any other nation in Asia, with the rate
of deforestation increasing by a staggering 86% in recent years.

Join us on July 13, 2010, for San Francisco's exclusive summer tour of Young Frankenstein, the wickedly hilarious musical based on Mel Brooks' Oscar-nominated motion picture of the Mary Shelley classic. Young Frankenstein tells the legendary tale of Dr. Frankenstein and his famous monster, along with a castle filled with memorable characters.
Facing many threats, including overfishing, plastic gyres, acidification from climate change, and underwater clear-cutting in the form of dredging and trawling, the oceans are perhaps the world's most ravaged ecosystem. Now the recent oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is wreaking even more havoc, with estimates of gallons leaked ranging from 3 million to over 40 million gallons.
